Away at work? At Dogworks, I can provide your companion with an energetic walk every day -- or active daycare for pets who'd rather be outdoors getting sunlight and healthy exercise rather than confined to an indoor, daycare facility.
Daily Walks
(And Running Appointments)
In all my years as a professional dog trainer, I've never met two dogs that are alike. All have their unique needs for physical and mental stimulation -- just like we do. I specialize in catering to the individual needs and activity level of your pet.
All walks are arranged on a private or semi-private basis. I never walk dogs in packs so we will discuss walks that are specific to your pet's lifestyle. Many dog's behavioral problems are not solely the result of isolation & boredom. They arise when their unique needs for exercise & stimulation aren't met.
Some dogs enjoy long walks outdoors or closely supervised visits to the local dog park. Others require a more active workout such as a long run or jog through the park. Still others have special needs such as help with walking because of an injury -- or special attention around other dogs or strangers.
Weekly & Daily rates are available for 1 hour visits. I also have 1/2 day & full day appointments for active daycare.

Rates:

1 hour, $20 (5 walks per week)
1 hour, $25 (1-4 walks per week)
1/2 day, 3 hours, $40
Full day including pick up and return, $60
Overnights, $75

Puppy Visits
& Special Needs
Some dogs & puppies require special attention during the day. Perhaps you need a visit or two during the day to help with house training or crate training.
Or maybe your dog requires special attention because of separation anxiety or during walks because they don't get along with other dogs or strangers.
I can also arrange for visits to the vet, help with medication, or trips to the groomer.
Call and let's work out a daily visit that's right for you.

Boarding
I don't blame you if the thought of leaving your pet overnight in a boarding facility upsets you. It's something I've never done. I have a limited amount of appointments for your dog to stay in my home when you have to be away.
All overnight boarding is done in my house with the company of my two dogs. Your pet should get along with other dogs and be able to have full access to my home. I do not use cages or kennels unless you prefer that. That means sleeping on the couch, watching TV, playing with other dogs, enjoying lots of exercise and long walks -- in short, all the comforts of home.
I'm usually booked in advance (especially around the holidays), so please call ahead for rates and reservations:
